I have a great deal of information about Stuarts in the RC Braes of Glenlivet, particularly from the RC records - my own Stuart alias More line were in Tomnalienan from mid C18 to early C19 (thereafter Refriesh and Knockandhu). Regardless of spelling, your 'Tomelenan, Inveravon', can only be Tomnalienan in the Braes - there is no other similar name. I have recently finished transcribing and indexing the RC Censuses of Glenlivet 1814, 1822 and 1834, so send me privately any other information you have about your John Stuart. Although neither the 1814 nor 1822 census shows a young John Stuart in Tomnalienan, I have from the Tombae register an 1819 Tomnalienan baptism record for John Stuart son of James Stuart alias More (brother of my 3g'gfather John Stuart in Refriesh) and his Protestant wife, Mary Thomson.
