I've seen LABOA, but usually written LABOY or LEBOY. Could this be her surname?

Hi Gloria

Recieved your message ragarding family relation, anything is possible, but I'm not from the Philipines. Maybe our for-families once were, back in the day. Keep in touch. Maybe we can fine a connection.

God Bless
Cordially Yours Phil Correa

The LABOY names I know are not from the Philipines either, but from Puerto Rico. They are not direct relations, so I don't know much about them except the name. I wonder if the surname could be LE BEAU or something similar?

Just now looking for my fathers family,(again). Accidently came across this site. My father is Isabelo Q. Duenas and was born in the Phillippines in 1932 but I don't know what city. Last known(?) city his family was living in is Manila or Quezon City. He was in the US Navy when he died in 1961. I have a vague story about him. Do you know anything?

Hello. I have Gregoria Lagoa as my great great grandmother, and she was from Mayagüez, too. She married Florencio de Rivera. They were the parents of Pedro de Rivera Lagoa, who married María Simona Vargas. They were the parents of Baldomero Rivera Vargas, my great grandfather. He married María Bacilia Martina Tilén y Otero, and they had eleven children, but only three survived: Emilio María Rivera Tilén, Mariano Rivera Tilén and Julia Basilisa Rivera Tilén. She was my maternal grandmother. Lagoa seems to be a Portuguese last name, since there is a town in Portugal with that name.
