I'm trying to confirm a story of murder in my family. All details of the story add up so far but verbal history suggests Sydney gassed his wife and child. I can't find evidence to prove this. I've looked up the deaths http://vitalstats.gov.mb.ca/index.html

I wonder if someone could help look up Winnipeg Free Press or grave details for info on 3 deaths? Lillian was a weslyn methodist in england prior to moving out to Canada - are there any relevant methodist archives that maybe worth searching?

It looks like I would not be able to get coroners records unless I jump through loads of legal hoops and ordering up death records costs a hell of a lot. Any help would be much appreciated.
