Hi Angus,

The first child of Charles Torraville and Margaret Elliot appears to be George, born Aug 7, 1945. His first child, Frederick Bond Torravill was born Sept 8, 1972. This is my great-grandfather. He married Minnie Highmore Warrick and their second child, born in 1902, was my maternal grandmother, Dorothy Torraville. I believe and have some confirmation that this Charles Torravile was the son of Benjamin Torraville.

I also have Torravilles on my maternal grandfather's line. He comes from the line of Joseph Torraville(of Herring Neck) who married Mary Simms. Their daughter Dora married Alfred Rendell, who was a lighthouse keeper at Seldom from 1904 to 1925. Their son Alfred was my maternal grandfather. This Joseph Torraville appears to be the son of Jeremiah Torraville.
