Basically there are numerous relatives who immigrated to Canada as Empire Loyalists. This adds another piece - since the Peter Mastin we have is Peter Minard Mastin and is married to Anna Bowerman. Peter Minard Mastin was born in NY. Then there is a Rebecca Mastin who was married to Ichabod Bowerman (born in Dutchess County, NY). Rebecca Mastin is the daughter of Aart Mastin and Rebecca Viele (both of NY). I haven't been able to find the parents of Peter Minard Mastin and would appreciate help there.
