Searching for parents of William Case Benedict, born 22 May 1818 in Fredericksburgh, Canada. He immigrated to Wisconsin where he served during the Civil War. Papers state that his first wife was Rachael Bush. Other papers state that he was the son of Ared(?)Benedict and _____Pringle. Assume both were from Canada. Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for more information regarding William Case Benedicts first wife, Rachel H. Bush. Do you have your sources or copies of your sources? I believe that she is the sister my g-g-grandmother Eliza Maria. I would very much appreciate you sharing your sources on her. I have found a Feby Benedict, most likely William and Rachel's daughter living with Eliza and her husband in 1961.
