Hamilton's of Napanee

Gerard Hamilton age 42, born Co. Fronteanac died 9th Oct 1873 in Napanee. He was a Carriage Maker. His wife Sarah M. Hamilton (born abt. 1830 in Tyendinaga) died shortly thereafter in 1878. Gerard's death cert informant was John Graham, Carriage Maker, Napanee and for Sarah's it was (or at least appears to be) H.T. John, Carriage Maker, Napanee.

It appears the couple is buried in the Riverview Cemetary but I have not been able to confirm this yet.

I would appreciate any assistance or suggestions on how to explore the possibilities that Gerard Hamilton is the son of Harlow and Eliza (?) Hamilton (listed as a Carriage Maker in 1861 Napanee).

Thanks so much

I too am searching for Hamilton's. Not sure of the area because it keeps coming up different. I have a Eliza Kelly b:1844 that gave birth to a Emily Florence Kelly in 1886. I don't know any other siblings or the father's name. Emily is my greatgrandmother on my mother's side. Emily married a William Hamilton in Chilliwack BC in 1901. Is there any link?
Thanks for your time...
