looking for family of solomon keech married a harriet
solomons father i beleive is joseph and mother frances hawkey i think from bridport england

According to the IGI records on www.familysearch.org, Solomon was born 5/2/1825 and christened on 26/10/1825 in Bridport, Dorset. His parents were Joseph Keech and Frances Hawkey. They has at least 4 other children - Caroline (1822), George(1827), Esther (1829) and Samuel (1831).

I have been trying to trace my Keech family, and have got as far as Joseph Keech (1797-1876) and his wife Fanny (1799-1872).One of their children was William (1829-1883) who married Fanny Lacey (1829-1891). William was my great great grandfather.

I am not sure whether the two Joseph's are the one and the same - it is a bit of co-incidence that their wives names are similar. I'd be very interested to know whether any one else has more details about the Keech family. They certainly originated in the Bridpoprt, Dorset area - there are a lot of them if you look at the UK Census data.
