Does anyone have any information about Jose Calvillo, the founder/namesake of Calvillo, Aguascalientes? He donated land in 1778 for the city. Who were his wife, his children, other descendants?

I have some limited knowledge on that, I went to school with the great, great grand kids in the City of Calvillo. Back in the mid to late 1970s I was in grade school with this girl by the name of Veronica Calvillo, direct descendant. I know that the family was heavily involved with the clergy of the city, everyone in the family had been altar boys (girls)and deacons as it would be the case. Am sure if you tap into the Church's records for the city you will be able to get plenty of information on them.
