My name is David Dana, I am a desendent of Maria Josefa Carrillo 1812 – 1883 and +William Goodwin Dana 1797 – 1858. I am a great grandson, my father was Amos Dana, my Grandfather was David D Dana.

I would like any information about the Carillo family. A family tree, information about weddings in Loreto, B.C., information about the family coming from Europe and when.

For info on Josefa, look under Maria Antonia (Josefa) Carrillo b 29 Dec 1810 d. 26 Jan 1893. Married to Captain Henry Delano Fitch . Any of the gene db's have lots of info on the Carrillo's.

WHOA- Marron has nothing to do with Juan Carrillo's wife whose surname is MILLAN not MILLAR (a mistake!!!). There is NO relationship there.
Marron came from the mainland in the 1760s. The MILLAN woman is most likely a dtr of Lazaro MILLAN who is found on a muster in 1695 in the Pima Wars in Sonora and then by 1730 is a mission servant in southern Baja. Again-the Marron family is NOT related to Juan Carrillo's wife.
