I'm posting this reply to let you know that Teofilo
Bejarano, my grandfather, was a son of Fermina
Lucero "NOT
CORDERO" and Fermina was married to my great-grandfather, Julio
Bejarano at
La Nuestra Senora de
Guadalupe in
Juarez Chihuahua Mexico after escaping fro
Geronimo. She gave birth to Teofilo and baptised him there in 1866. Teofilo was the father of my father
Crespin Bejarano. They all resided in or near
Virden, N.M. Teofilo was not married to my grandmother Gregoria
Contreras, but they had seven children that survived. They were Pedro,
Anastasia, Josepha,
Candelaria, 2 Manuel's (one died as a child) and a
Nestor who died as a child. Gregoria's parents were Manuel
Contreras and Rafaela Saldanos. I have documentation on Fermina's last name, and her parents were Rosa
Placencia and Saron, orSimon
Lucero (The original document copies from the Catholic church are in quill pen and very smudged, so her fathers first name is almost illegible. . email me if you like Joe
Lara Bejarano at
