Javier,
I saw your post that you have a good deal of information on the Manquero family. My wife is Gloria Manquero (b. 09/27/61) Her father is Francisco Manquero (11/9/1929) and from what he told me his father was Aureliano Manquero and his mother was Telesfora Urquiza. Unfortunately he is getting up there in age and doesn't have dates and/or details. Just many names... I am trying to piece the information together so our children might know a bit about their ancestors. Maybe we can email? gloriantodd07@comcast.net

Hello Yolanda,

Just happened to see your post of Mar '08. I haven't worked on some of my Chihuahua lines lately. I have a great job of automating my research with the proper documentation to publish it in my organization's journal.

Currently I am working on one of my Nuevo Leon lines and have almost fot it entered. Some time ago through the Arizona State Museum collection (can't remember the acronym right now) I have developed research into Catarina Enriques' Father's line, Cristobal. I have found she had at least three sisters with families in Hidalgo del Parral & San Bartolome. I am also researching the DominguezMendoza extention. I just haven't had time to order the films.

My Juan De La Riva (Guillermina PerezGranillo)were in Jimenez, Chihuahua. Luz Montejano Hilton is a distant cousin as she is a decendant of one of Guillermina's sisters. Perhaps you have seen the posting of her line and she has incorporated basic detail of mine.

I am surprised that my original posting of several years ago still generates alot of activity. Keep plugging, we're getting there!!!

Send me a note sometime, Iris Arias

If you are still needing help on your Aranda line, let me know. I will need all the detail you have so far on Arandas.

I have an Aranda line which goes back from the early 1800s in Jimenez, Chihuahua. With the information which you no have have you been able to order any research films at an LDS Library?

Leland,

Yes I am still working on my Bast DelaGarza line from time to time. Recently, with the Pilot Family Search project I have been able to fill in a death date for some of Sara's sisters, but not Sara's. The little information I do have is downline. Presently, I am finishing the upline through female & male ancestors for the surnames Bast,DelaGarza, Garcia, & Sepulveda in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mier & Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

If you see my post, I'd be pleased to hear how your search is going.

My name is Jesse Avitia, I've allways wanted to know about my familys history but regretfully never asked. My grandfother's name was Primo Jose Avitia, and was born in Santiago Papasquiaro Durango but that's as far as I know. I would love to know more about my family's history, can you please help?

Hello Yolanda,

I had contact with Lawrence La Beau in the year 2000, then lost contact. Are you able to help, I too am so greatful to him for his dedication to our family tree.

My name is Maria Dolores Gomez (Zuniga), my mother was Elsie Zuniga (Morales), her father was Carlos Celestino Morales, and it sound like you know a bit about my family history.

Thank you,
Maria

I certainly hope your are still working in the Chihuahua area. All the surnames you mentioned are mine.
