Molango exists in a photo of Colonel Felipe Melo Angeles, father of General Felipe Angeles.

I live near this place, and am doing a research about this courageous General, that I admire so much and I think it is an example to follow for being so brave and intelligent.

Would like to contact family of Raquel Morales who was from San Marcos and served a Mormon mission in 1937-1939. She served in Monterrey, N. Leon and Ozumba. My father, Antonio Martineau, from Chuichupa, Chihuahua also served a Mormon mission at this time. He has pictures of various missionaries including Raquel Morales. I would like to share these pictures with family.

Raquel's parents may be Vicente Morales Guerrero and Eulalia Mera Martinez. Raquel may have died in 1964.

Vicente Resendiz, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 7, at
his daughter's home in Purcell. Services will be
7 p.m. Monday at Wadley's Funeral Chapel. Burial
will be in Mexico.

He was born Oct. 22, 1930, to Modesto and Ursula
Resendiz in Quitandeje Tasquillo Hidalgo, Mexico.

Mr. Resendiz has lived in Purcell since 2000, when
he came from Mexico where he was raised and attended
school. He was a carpenter who made windows and
doors in El Nona, Texas.

Mr. Resendiz was preceded in death by his parents
and wife.

Survivors include his children, Clemente Resendiz,
Esteban Resendiz and Gregoria Resendiz of Sulphur
Springs, Texas, Marcelina Resendiz, Joel Resendiz
and Efigenia Resendiz of Purcell, Felisia Resendiz
and Domingo Resendiz of Mexico, Juana Resendiz of
Missouri and Alicia Resendiz of Clarksville, Texas;
sisters Delfinna Ramirez and Guadalupa Ramirez; 31
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Dime una cosa, son de ? Por que mi familia tiene relacion con los Najera, Ramirez, Pindter, Pina y Soni. Mi tatara abuelo se llamaba Domingo Najera y Ramirez, mi bis era Domingo Najera y de Pindter. El apellido Najera si es de origen espanol. para ser especifico el apellido es de Alava y es de origen vascuense. Le recomiendo tomarse el tiempo y buscar en el registro de apellidos de espana y encontraras que hay mas de 2k de espanoles con el apellido.

Mike, two of my relatives died in Real Del monte in 1926, John Jarvie Jnr and John Jarvie Snr, John Snr was killed in a mining accident, John Jnr died a few months later of dysentry. Do you have any inscriptions or indeed any knowledege of them. They originated from the mining town of Banton, Kilsyth, Scotland.

I am trying to piece together the family of Severo Garcia, b. about 1882, son of Severo Garcia and Agapita Mejia and Micaela Gutierrez, daughter of Carlos and Esperanza Gutierrez.

I know that they had one child, Gudelia Garcia Gutierrez, born Septmeber 29, 1910 in Pachuca. That is all I know and would appreciate any help

Jim, There is a headstone at the Panteon del los Ingleses, Real del Monte which commemorates both of your relatives. The memorial reads :
"Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away. In loving memory of JOHN JARVIE, beloved husband of ANNIE JARVIE who was killed at Purisma Mine April 9th 1926, aged 52 years. Also JOHN, beloved son of the above, died Aug. 5 1926, aged 23 years."
The letters are etched and the memorial is a block of stone summounted by a Latin cross. The plot is a "double" one - length wise rather than side by side. Significantly, There is a masonic symbol (with the letter G indicating USA influence). I have a couple of photos.
I would be interested in knowing further biographical details and there home background.

what years are you looking for births in? if it is before 1905 in zimapan i can do a lookup for you, i will be at the library tomorrow. the only el carrizal i found was in chiapas, and one in chihuahua. is one of these the place you needed?

Any information on the Daveys that emigrated from Cornwall to Real del Monte, Hidalgo, Mexico, will be greatly appreciated.

-Candelario Davey: Definitely my paternal great-grandfather, as he's listed in my grandfather's death certificate that was issued in Real del Monte. Died January 23, 1889 at the age of 43. Birth date, birthplace, and burial place unknown.

-John Davey: Perhaps Candelario's father, but I have no written record to prove it, only anecdotes from the family. Died October 24, 1889 in Real del Monte at the age of 63, buried at Panteon de los Ingleses (English Cemetery). Birthplace listed as Cornwall in death certificate issued in Real del Monte, but no birth date.

-Thomas Davey: Buried in the same grave as John Davey. Died January 29, 1875 at the age of 56. No birth date. Relation to John Davey is unknown.

-James Davey: Buried in the same cemetery as John and Thomas. Died October 13, 1887, at the age of 63. Relation to John and Thomas is unknown. No birthplace or birthdate listed.

I'm searching one of my ancestors whom I believe is buried in the English cemetery. Charles F Marmion died in 1928 while working there. His wife and children are buried in Arizona.

Divorce papers

I am need some help. My step father was from Mexico. He passed was killed in Jan. 04. He told my mother that he was divorced in Pachuca, Mx. Could someone tell me who I need to call or email to find out if he was divorced and when. We need these papers for court. My mother was married to him for 15 yrs and was told by one of his kids that he never did divorce his mother and we need to find out if it is true. I hope someone can help,

I surveyed the cemetery a couple of years ago. There is one memorial to the MARMION family. My Ref. 257/609. There is a ledger at the east end of a plot which has flower pots on each corner, with the following inscription :

El Sr. CARLOS E. MARMION, fellecio el 6 de enero de 1928. R.I.P. Recuerdo de M.A.Q.
PEDRO RADO 5-II-48 pomreya T. vda. de RADO. 12.V.72. JUAN JAVIER CARCLOSO RADO 17-VI-87. No oreis ectay con dios al la es espero.

Was buried in Pachuca de Soto in 1926. He was my paternal grandfather and married Leonor Portillo. She was born in San luis Potosi. Her maiden name Guerrero. They has 2 children, Juan and Manuel. There was also a 1st born named Librado, born to another woman beside my grandmother. I know absolutely nothing about him about him. Four or so years later they moved to Ozona, Tx.
