Jauregui Family Tree

Surnames: Jauregui, Yniguez
Have been working my family tree (surnames, Jauregui and Yniguez) in Jalisco primarily around Jalostotitlan area. I am hoping to find contacts with Jauregui's and Yniguez's who have ancestors from that area who migrated to parts unknown. I want to find the later generations of my ancestors who now reside where ever it may be.

Yniguez

I am also working on my Yniguez family tree from Jalisco.

What do you have on your Yniguez side?

En Ameca, Jal. existen algunas familias que tienen esos apellidos. Por lo menos conozco a dos, no se si entre ellos son parientes ni de donde hayan venido.

Hi,

Haven't read all the posts so some-one else may have replied. Jauregui name comes from the house in the Basque country where they originally came from. Although my husband's ancestor left in @1520 he's still given a warm welcome in that part of Spain. All Basques trace their lineage back to a specific house rather than a 'name' as such. HTH

My great grandfather, Antonio Jauregui, homesteaded a ranch in Rawlins, Wyoming in 1910. He was from Jacona, Michoacan, Mexico. If you have any information that can help me with my genealogy e-mail me at: therrera2000@aol.com.

We are looking for info on my friend's grandfather,
Cornelio Y. Ornelas. Born Sept 16, 1897, to Jorge Ornelas.
Tiocaltiche, Jalisco, Mexico. Had a brother named Pedro, and sisters who we don't have names for. He married Severa Chavez. Cornelio moved from Jalisco to California, between 1915 and 1920. His son was Socorro Ornelas. My friend, George is Cornelio's grandson.

Any connection to yours? And how would we go about finding Mexican birth, marriage, death, military, and/or land records for these ancestors?
