Hi, My name is Angie Melgoza.(age 39) My family is from La Piedad, Michoacan. My grandfather came to the U.S. at age 44, but I don't know what year. His name was Jesus Melgoza. His brother was Guadalupe. They are both deceased. My father's name is Robert Melgoza, He lives in Roseville, Ca. We don't have much contact. My Aunt also lives in Roseville, her name is Jennie Calderon (Melgoza). There is a town in Mexico Called Los Melgoza. Maybe there are more relatives there.

Hi, Angie. My family are also decendents of 'Los Melgoza.' In fact, my grandmother's name was Porfiria Melgoza and she was from 'Los Melgoza' a municipality of La Piedad, Michoacan. She married Aureliano Cazares and he was also from same town. My grandmothers' fathers' name was Tiburcio Megloza and his wife was Eufemia Aguilera. The town(known as a 'municipio) 'Los Melgoza' was named after them (los Melgoza) because they were the first to reside there, in other words, they started the town. I do know some family members who moved to and still live in Mexicali, Baja Calif., and the Los Angeles area and Miguel Melgoza from Madera, CA. You can look up Miguel Melgoza, he is also anxious to locate all the family members.
