I am looking for information about my Grandparents. They were born, grew up, and were married in Tangancicuaro. Their names were Esther Delgado and Antonio Chavez. I am second generation American. My father Raul Chavez has (had?) an Uncle who we visited there 30 years ago. His name was Carlos Zamora. We traveled all through Mexico when I was a young girl and I remember strongly are visit to Tangancicuaro and the beauty and generosity of the people and the village. I was born in tangas, it's been over 4 yrs since i have last been there. My dad is from tangas and my mom is from La Planta. I have been in the u.s since I was 3. I grew up in Imperial Valley, Ca and now reside in San Diego, Ca. It's cool to see how migration of this town is not just in the border towns.
