LOPEZ at Mission San Gabriel in 1798. It is said he had a bro, Pablo VEJAR, carpenter. One of Salvador and Maria Josefa's sons was Emigdio VEJAR b 1863 Los Angeles, Alta California, MX.

Hello Barman: Thanks for the response, however, these BEJARS/VEJARS that I seek info on were already in Los Angeles/Orange Co's CA since the very early 1800s, thus any BEJARS in Nayarit in modern times probably don't share the same descendancy line that I seek info on. I say "probably" as it is always possible that they do! Therefore, in the hopes that they do, I would certainly appreciate any address you could give me! My research on this name, VEJAR, shows that it was spelled both ways--VEJAR and BEJAR--apparently the letters V and B are interchangable in the Spanish language.

The addresses on Abasolo and Zacatecas streets are business locations they have. The one on Brasilia is a home address, also the phone numbers from my book are very old. The city has since grown quite a bit and added a number one (1) to the beginning of each number wich I included.
