Hi my name is Rachel. My grandmothers family came from Monterrey NL mexico. Her name was Altagracia Valero she was born in oct 4 1906. Her parents were Martin Valero and San Juanita Flores. Her sister were Sara, Natividad, Rita, and Florencia Valero. They were born in Saltillo Coahuila mexico but lived in Monterrey. Her sisters and there families stayed in Monterrey but my grandmother moved to texas. hope this helps.

All I know is that my great grand father had a ranch his name was felis Garcia and when he past away my great grandmother came to the united states with my grandma. My great grandmothers name is Lolita Gracia. My great grandpa had a ranch I think it was called Tres Rios.

I am looking for any information on my great-great-great grandparents Pedro Gonzalez and Maria Encarnacion Moreno born in Villa del Santiago/Guajuco/Guaxuco, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I don't have dates but I guess-timate 1850 or so. Their son was Exiquio Gonzalez, his son was my grandfather, Miguel Angel Gonzalez Botello.

Just this week I was helping a great-great granddaughter of that couple with their family history. I found that marriage record in the IGI but it does not give the parent names there. Have you seen the microfilm or know who the parents are of that couple. I found ten children for that couple.

I have some relatives with the name Jasso Jaso, Jazo same difference. I have seen baptismal records with all three names. On my farhers side the name comes from my great-grandmother. The name appears in the state of Nuevo Leon in the 1600's in Cerralvo, N.L.. My grandfather was Genovevo Lopez Jasso, his mother was Maria Prota Jasso. On my grandfather's baptism record the last name is spelled Jazo. I hope this can be of help. Other names associated withe the name Jasso include: Guajardo, Benavides. Losano, Ramon, Salinas and Lopez

Letters I have indicate that my grandfather, Frank Snodgrass and his brother Tilghman Edward Snodgrass both lived and/or worked in Monterrey, Mexico at one time. They both died in 1914.

Well, the reason I named those two people is because 2 family trees on ancestry.com list them as Ana Josefa Garcia's parents. I don't know where this information came from though. I have found information on her from the SA Public Library in the genealogy section and also tried to contact the Historical Archives in Monterrey to see if they could find a baptismal record, but received no response from them. Nothing so far has shown her parents. I can send you the scans of the info I got from the Library if you like, and also the book from which they came.

Just wondering if anyone knows who are the parents of Ana Josefa Garcia, born in Cerralvo in 1722/23. She was married to Nicolas Gonzalez Trevino abt 1739, and she died in 1801. She and Nicolas were one of the founding families of Mier. It is possible that her parents are Joaquin Garcia and Isabel Guajardo, but I'm not sure.

I too am looking for family on the Trevino side. I believe we maybe related. I have some information My Great-Grandmother Maria Elvira Trevino of Galeana, Nuevo Leon.
My mother spoke of family on the Trevino side of San Antonio and they were Ministers and that many peolpe would seek their ministry when ever there was a birth,marriage or Death. Mother said that people would only seek the minsters for those services only and didn't particiapate in any of the church activities so the Service they provide were limited to church memebers and immiadate family.
I have found some information on The Family lived in The County of Webb, City of Laredo,State of Texas.This is Where I found a Record on Elias Trevino and he has the same name of Parents as my Great- Grand Mother Maria Elvira Trevino.
