I'm looking for any information on the parents/ancestors or descendants of Mexico's President Porfirio Diaz

I know a little bit about who is family was until the present day. Please contact me if you need some info or if you have some info for me.

I'm looking for the family tree of President Porfirio Diaz. My grandfather was named Nieves Diaz and I would like to know if there were any decendents by that name in the family tree. Please contact me if you know of any. Thanks.

Mexico's President Porfirio Diaz- he has a great grandson of same name living in Texas. Looking for connection to Magdalena Diaz b Janos MX Married James Buchanan Counselor to El Paso Del Norte Mx. The Buchanan home built in 1875 or so is still standing on Proferia St. in Juarez, Mx. Looking for Pictures of -James Buchanan b 1804 died in 1885 Mexico-Found many of his descendents but non are willing to give copy of any photo's they might have.

I also have a great gradnmother whos last name was
Jesus Diaz.
According to one of her daughters (my gradnmother) Jesus Diaz used to talk about her realtion to Porfirio Diaz. My grandmother is now 85 so she can vaguely remeber the stories her mother told her about Porfirio Diaz. I dont really belive much because she cant remeber but she does mention that her mother was born in French Canada. If anyone wants to try to link all tis up please contact me.

Flyinhi, that's really interesting because I know my Grandfather Diaz was part French. But I don't really know if he was related to Porfirio or not. Do you have anymore info to go on? His full name is Nieves Solario Diaz, and he had a daughter named Mary and a son who passed away who had red hair.

I too am looking to find out if my family is related to Porfirio Diaz. My grandmother who passed away when I was young use to say that she was related to Porfirio Diaz. Her name was Elfega Diaz from Oaxaca, Mx. Her father was Manuel Diaz. She also had a brother Silvino Diaz who left on ship to Europe never to be heard from again. Wondering if there is any connection there to French-Canadian ancestry. If anyone knows of the Porfirio Diaz geneology please let me know.
