I am looking for the child of the famous Corregidora de Queretaro, Dona Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez, who was the parent of my grandmother's grandmother. Dona Josefa lived from 1768 to 1829, and had four boys and eight girls. My grandmother's grandmother was named Quirina Dominguez de MacKenney, or Maquene, and later left Mexico for Guatemala. Patricia, sorry but I have nothing I can help you with. The line of people I am looking for went to New Mexico, not Guatemala or South America.

There is a book with genealogical data from about 2700 people, ALL descendants of the Corregidores of Querétaro, Josefa Ortíz de Domínguez and Miguel Domínguez. The book is in the Autonomous University of Queretaro Library, there were edited just 1000 copies. I saw it just 2 weeks ago and I read Doña Josefa had not 12 but 14 children. I can go to the Library again, just let me know what specific data you need .
