Juan Paez Hurtado, born December 14, 1668 in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Spain, son of Domingo Hurtado Vizcaino and Ana Josefa Rubio y Vasquez. I am seeking any and all information on his life in Mexico. He came to Mexico around 1688 and lived in Mexico City, Tlalpujaus, Michoacan, Parral, and Juarez, before going to New Mexico with Diego de Vargas. Hi my last name is also Hurtado my father was Francisco Porchas Hurtado and he was from Agua Prieta Sonora Mexico. My grandfathers name was Jose Hurtado and he wasnt from Agua prieta he came from Mexico but I cant remember from where and unfortuanately he passed away two years ago
