Vivo en california, US - perdon, pero escribo muy poco en espanol - pero voy acer la lucha. Mi padre es Torivio Reynaga y mi abuelo se llamaba Pedro Reynaga - mi abuela Salud Mora. Mi papa nacio en California, pero mis abuelos nacieron en Caurio de Guadalupe, Michoacan. Nuestro abuelo nos platico que hace "muchos tiempo" dos hermanos vieneron en un barco de Portugal. Los llevaban a centro o sur america. Pero los dos hermanos brincaron de el barco. Disen que uno de los dos hermanos se vue a vivir a Michoacan y el otro hermano se vue a vivir a Jalisco.

Hola, Do you know if the rest of your family lived nearby San Luis Potosi? I posted the message in Spanish hoping that some people who didn't speak English would respond, but I am fluent in both languages. I am looking particularly for the Reynaga family in Cardenas, I know that I have some cousins in Mexico and the US, but trying to find them is another thing. Hi, I am starting my family tree....HARD work.

My father was from San Luis Potosi. His father's name was Modesto Juarez Reynaga. I don't know where he was born or not much more of the Reynaga part. Can you help me. Did you find anything about Reynagas in San Luis Potosi?

When I was going over film from the Latter Day Saints LDS cd files I found 95% of the Reynaga's in Jalisco and Michoacan, but there were some listings for San Luis Potosi.
The centers are Family History Centers and you can find them by contacting any Mormon church or search on the web. I'm sure the Reynaga's are all related from some point. Let me know if you want more info on our Reynaga branch.

Thank you for the info, I haven't really done anymore checking on the Reynaga Family since I am working on another one but please do keep me informed if you do have any more info. I know that there are some relatives that still live in Cardenas and that some have died which makes it very hard to keep finding!

I am searching for ancestors of Reynaga's out of Devine, Texas (Hondo County). This would be Catarino Reynaga, his children were Juanita and Jose. They resided in Williamson County, Texas in the '30's. I could not find a trace of them anywhere.
