Anybody in Hermosillo with the last name of Gradillas or Feliz that may be related to Josefa Gradillas, Rosario Feliz, Andres Feliz, Jose Maria Gradillas, or Father Moreno-Gradillas. These people lived during the 1920's to 1960's but may have family still living in the Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico area. My mother and aunts' names are Irene, Jessie, and Alice Reza. They last visited family in Hermosillo in the 40's. My grandmother is Josefa Gradillas and married Facundo Reza in Arizona. Please reply.

My grandmother's maiden name was Maria Feliz and her parents were Simona Nido and Pablo Feliz. Simona and Pablo were married in the Cathedral de la Asuncion in Hermosillo in 1860.

Hola, Mi segundo apellido es Grdillas. Mi mama me dijo ke su papa solo tuvo dos hijos con mi abuela, Maria Luisa(mi mama) y otro hemano Mario Gradillas. Mi abuela se llamaba Bertha Rodriguez. Segun la historia ke mi mama cuenta es poco lo ke ella conocio a su papa, ya ke el estaba casado con otra mujer, pero aun asi el, mantenia una relacion con mi abuela. El despues la dejo y mi abuela se caso y tuvo otros hijos. Hace algunos años conoci a una persona en Nogaes, Son. El se apellida gradillas al parecer era medio hermano de mi mama, pero solo lo vi una vez. Nosotros vivimos en Hernosillo, Son, Mex. Me gustaria saber mas se la amilia de el papa de mi papa. I just read your response after a year. Maybe there could be some relation between your family and mine since they were in the same area, Hermosillo, at the same time. Have you heard of any of these names Arturo Feliz, Andres Feliz, Pauli Gradillas Feliz or Benjamin Feliz? I'm not sure who her parents were as Petra had various brothers & sisters..sharing surnames Cuen/calles,Cuen/Lopez
Cuen/Noriega,Cuen/sesteaga..these familys were in La Colorada Sonora Mexico, other Hermosillo, later into Az &
calif...if someone things they know of her.

I'm sorry i can't write in spanish but i do understand it. Most of my family came from Hermosillo, sonora and while my greatgrandparents were traveling to Arizona, US, my grandmother was born in Nogales, sonora. So i'm pretty sure i have family in Arizona that i don't know of and maybe some still in Hermosillo, like cousins with the name Feliz. I hope this helps. My greatgrandmother's last name was Moreno.
