I am researching my mothers maiden name of VALADEZ. It was also spelled BALADES, BALADEZ, & VALADES before taking the new surname of VALADEZ. My gg grandfather is Don Jose Maria VALADEZ MALTO.

He is the son of Don Jose Maria VALADEZ and Doña Juana MALTO of Cidudad Camargo, Tamaulipas around 1825. He was born at the Valadeces Ranch. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. (I took my mothers maiden name).

I am a descendant of a man named Wenceslao Valadez. He was from the area you mentioned. He may have died in Aguascalientes.
He was married to my Granmother--Anita Diaz and lived and worked part of his life in Wise County, Texas in the coal mine. I would appreciate any information that you can provide on him and his ancestors. Emma C. Rios

My father-in-law was Manuel Rios from Alice, Texas. He married Elia Perez and had four children. Ernesto, Manuel, Ruben and Maria Elia. He had two brothers...Eduardo and Jesus. They were were the sons of Gorgonio Rios and Maria Guevara. Gorgonio was married three times and had children from each marriage. We were invited to a Rios family reunion many years ago but my mother-in-law decided that we should not go and we did not. Now we regret it. Do get in touch if we are related.RubenRios164@aol.com Just put rios family in the subject box so I will know it isn't spam.

My father-in-law, Manuel Rios was married to Elia Perez. He was the son of Gorgonio Rios and Maria Guevara. He had several brothers. They were Jesus who was married to Mavis Anthony and Eduardo who was married to Juana Nunez. He also had several half brothers. Hesiquio (Dick) married to Carmen Zamora, Francisca (Paquita) married to Justo Guerra, Laurel married to Idolina Solis. Gorgonio was the son of Alvino Rios and Natividad Garcia. I know that many years ago we received an invitation to a family reunion in the Victoria/ Beeville area but we did not attend amd we lost touch with those people. I hope this helps you. If you have an information on any of these people please contact me.
