I'm just beginning my research in Mexico. I would appreciate some guidance with this family search. Maximiliano Garces b. possibly in in Panico or Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Paula Garcia and Unknown Garces. No exact dates. Before 1930. Any Garces researchers in this area?

Hi Kendra - my grandfather Clemente Garces is from Tamaulipas Mexico - he came from a large family. His parents - Gabriel & Maria E. Trevino children - Jose Florenicio, Gabriel jr,Juana, and my grandfather Clemente.
The family settled in Mercedes Texas. I dont know how to search in Tamaulipas - and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I do know Garces on cenus was at times spelled Garcez or Garzez. Strange. thanks.
