My G Grandmother was Margarita (Margaret) Carlos born 02/22/1895 in Jerez, Mexico around 1910 or 1911 she married Jose Rodriguez they came to the United States, I am not sure before or after they married. I do know that Jose Rodriguez enlisted in the military in New Mexico around 1918. It is intresting that you are also researching the name Acosta, because we have a huge family line of Acosta's. my grand fathers name was jacinto gamboa, his fathers name was jacinto hernandez gamboa who married matilda ochoa.. my grandfather, left mexico when he was about 18 yrs old and was never able to connect with his family after that, any info would be helpful
