Have been researching de la Torre, Sanchez, Santos, Carlos in the Laguna Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico area. My great-grandmother, Maria Felix (Felicitas)Sanchez, married my great-grandfather, Pascual de la Torre. Had my grandfather, Reyes. Remarried to Jesus Carlos. Shows his parents as being Wenceslas(?) Carlos and Josefa Santos. Could there be a connection? Would love to hear from you!

I saw your message listing the surnames including Ulloa. My grandmother, Maria Paz Ulloa de Rodriguez, was the daughter of Gabriel Ulloa and Casimira Rodriguez who married on January 7, 1870 in Nochistlan, Zacatecas.

Do you have any information on them, such as their birthplace and family history.

Sincerely yours,

Charles Clark

I think you would be interested in the following book:
FILIGRANAS, FUNDACIONES Y GENEALOGIAS, TEPETONGO, 1596-1999,ZACATECAS. This book can be ordered from
www.borderlandsbooks.com. THe book is under the catalog
on the 2nd page of what's new. It is a genealogy of the Robles de la Torre family from TEPETONGO, Zacatecas. Your
de la Torre family may have come from Zacatecas. I am exploring the possibility that my Robles family came from
there but need a bit more leg work to get my Robles family
from General Cepeda, Coahuila to Saltillo and then from
Saltillo to Zacatecas. I have my Robles family back to 1740's of so.
