I am looking for any information on Mariano Del Real born 1881, he was an agricultural worker in Zacatecas. Mariano was married to Aurelia Canales who was born around 1887. They had several children, I only have discovered three so far. There children were Dolores de Maria Del Real, Raquel Del Real and Abelardo Del Real. Dolores is my husbands grandmother and she came to the U.S. in the late 1920's. If anyone has even the smallest shred of information it would be helpful.

My Sabas/Savas/Silas/Salvas/Celias/Salas Canales was b Sombreto Zacatecas MX c1856. I have found his first name listed each way. He is found as a single boarder in Starr CoTX 1880. He m soon aft to Ellen/Helena Longoria. She b Sombreto also. They settled in McLennan Co and are still listed as "alien" on 1930 census. There is a border crossing 1924 Laredo TX for Sabas and son Damasos so they had gone for a visit. On the border crossing form Sabas states he is going back to McLennan Co to his wife. They are farners in McLennan Co so pos they were farmers in Sombreto also. Do not know why they moved quite a distance to McLennan Co. family history says Savas had bro Benito who came from MX with him, there are several Benitos, but have not concluded correct one.

Hey I am from zacatecas with the last name Canales, but I think your spelling of "Sombrerete" is off you have it as 'Sombrete" I was born there but now Iam living in the US. I am also familiar with the last name Longoria, many of both last names are in California and Texas,but both last names comes from the same place. Let me know if you need more info or if I can help. I am also trying to find where my roots come from.

My grandfather was named Rafael Canales Vitela.
