Hello. My name is Robert Escobedo and I need help. I read your post and believe you might have information that can help me. I know my ancestors to about the early 1800's. My grandfather said we came from Monte Escobedo but I cannot find info. My great great grandfather was Gabino Escobedo (married Isabel Reyes) and was born in 1838. His father if I remember right was named Estevan and had a wife named Francisca de Lira or Lozano. I think he said our line originated from a Juan de Escobedo so I was curious if you could show me your family tree that way I could see if there are any children that fit the descriptions. Any help would be appreciated. Again, thank you.

I have several Juan de Escobedo on my tree, as Monte Escobedo was the original Hacienda of Hernando and his son Francisco de Escobedo in the early XVI centuary, probably all Escobedo from the Zacatecas region com from Monte Escobedo.
