Does anyone know who Dolly Treadwell ( maiden name) parents names were, I believe she had a step mother, but Im interested in her real mothers name.

Dolly Treadwell's real name was Ellaree Treadwell. Her nickname became "Dolly" when her small brother couldnt say Ellaree so he began calling her Dolly and the name stuck. Dolly's parents were Walter Franklin Treadwell and Susie Walker. Her mother Susie died when Dolly was a small child. Her father remarried to a Bertha Sullivan. Bertha finished raising Dolly. Dolly married a Benny Rentz. They these children: Nadine, Richard (Ricky), Elizabeth, and Danny. Dolly died from Liver problems. Dolly is buried beside Benny at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Adel Georgia, Cook County

Kathy, please contact me. Walter Treadwell was the brother of my Grt Grandmother Mary (Molly) Treadwell Humphreys (widow of Robert E. Humphreys of Thomas Co., Ga., Pavo area) (second husband, Thomas A. Walker of Brooks Co., Ga.) I have photos of Mollie's family. She moved here to Lakeland, Fl. in the early 1920's and died her in 1961. I know her father Wm. C. Treadwell died in 1920 and his wife Malissa/Lizzy died in 1925, but I do not know who she was living with when she died. I am very interested in photos of the Treadwell's and Walker's.
