First married abt 1840 to Isabel Slover had 7 children in IL re-married Mary Dale Kiser abt. 1865 she had two Rufus Lee and Frances Marion Kiser. William & Mary had three Josephine, Jane S, and Noah Austin 1871 In MO. William is in 1850-1860 census Wayne co IL and 1870-1880 census Logan Wayne co MO. I believe he had a brother John C Henson b 1822 because he went everywhere William did. This is not the William C Henson b GA married to Mary Hood. Some of his family was in Illinois with Lydia Gundia Indian Woman. These are not his parents, but relatives.

Thank You, that does help at least it describes William. I have some of the military records from footnote.com. I believe those with him Jesse and William B could be brothers as his children were. Elizabeth, Mary, David Chesterfield, Margaret C, Carroll William, and Mahalah J, and John C at that time with wife Isabel. There is a group of Henson Brothers in IN and Illinois that moved together, Phillip, John C, Jesse C Sr. , David, Rueben. One of these has to be his father but not sure who they also traveled with the Chapman family. And connected with the Burketts. some of his family were William Sr served Rev War and Shadrack served Rev. War. Thank you for helping

Hi thank you I have all of that and the Fayeshaney site has no mention of these two brothers. With any of the Hensons But I have traced them all the way from Indiana to Civil war to Illinois then Piedmont MO. In every census from 1850 to 1880.

William Coff Henson was born 1816 In Indiana married Ellen Brown buried in Henson Cemetery Orchardville IL. My William C was around them in Illinois but no mention of him fathered by Phillip they may have been cousins to his kids.
All the Hensons are in the 1820 census and 1830 census I must have lost one because I count the sons and ages and they are not there. Some trees have my William C mixed up With William C born in GA married Mary Hood wrong Henson line but they have attached him with Father Joseph and Mother Nancy Clark.(wrong) One hint William C Henson named one son Carrol William. So I think the C stood for Carrol. Thank You
