We are looking for the decendants of
Celestine Boudreau. We found him on the 1860
Illinois -
Iroquois County census; listed with his brother
Alphonse Boudreau1860 Iroquis County,

This is the only clue that
Alphonse Boudreau had a brother. Alphonse
Boudreau married
Cecilia Allain (ALLEN) on October 19, 1851, in
Will County,
Illinois. The father and brothers of
Cecilia were Michael,
Antoine and
Ambrose Allain, who were the first to settle in St. Anne,
Illinois.
Alphonse and
Cecilia had four children (
Adeline,
Alexandre Alfred, Charles
Celestine and
Angeline) were born in St. Anne. In 1868, they traveled by covered wagon with a group of French-Canadians to
Dakota County,
Nebraska. However, as far as we know
Celestine Boudreau was not with them. Accept, for him being on the 1860 census, we know nothing about
Celestine Boudreau; so we would like to find his descendants. Maybe, they could help us find the ancestors of
Alphonse and
Celestine Boudreau.
Pierre
Boudreau Senior, is connected to the Allains through the marriage of his children and we would like to learn more about him also, to see if he is related to
Alphonse and
Celestine.
Thank you,
Mary
Boudreau
