Mrs. Sandy Gentry of Greensburg, the daughter of Eugenia Judd Simpson of Greensburg and the late Gearon Simpson, was born May 27, 1945 in Green County, and departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at her home. She was 64 years, four months and 14 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. She was retired from Houchens Industries. She united in marriage to Clell Gentry in 1963, who survives. She is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rollin and Kristi Gentry of Greensburg, two sisters, Glenda Stengel of Greensburg and Ree Lomax of North Carolina; one grandchild, Mackenzie Gentry of Greensburg and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Sandy Gentry, will be private with no visitation. For more information contact the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.
