Naomi Coffey, 93, a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at 9:38 p.m. at Summit Manor. A native of Green County, she was a daughter of the late Olie and Nettie Dawson Coffey and a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a licensed practical nurse. Survivors include, one sister, Wayne Pickett of Columbia; six nieces and four nephews, Rebecca Curry of Greensburg, Roberta Thompson of Smiths Grove, Joyce Rodgers of Portland, Sue Grant of Liberty, Donna Jones of Rockfield, Jean Smith of Florida, Carol Hannon of Atlanta, Stanley Harmon of Mt. Sherman, Clayton Garrison of Greensburg, and Joe Wilmers of Ohio. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters; Ray Winfrey Quannah, Carol Grey Coffey, Kathleen Squires and Gertrude Garrison. Funeral service took place Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home were Bro. David Coffey and Bro. Darrell Coffey officiated. Burial was in Fry Cemetery in Green County. Visitation was after 5 p.m. Monday. Grissom-Martln Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallearers were Billy Rodgers, Gary Coffey, Billy Grant, Wendell Curry, Charlie Jones, Bobby Beard, Ronnie Curry and Brent Curry
