I am seeking information regarding an adoption of a child born in December of 1945. I believe the adoption took place sometime between January - August of 1946. I have checked the birth index at the NY Public Library and do know that the birth father had the surname Howell. Additionally, I am seeking any information regarding Howell's in the Queens, NY area in 1945-1946. Thank you!
