I am looking for information on the family of Pattie E Young. I found this marriage record at the Va Library last week.

John died in 1918 in Roanoke City and his obit in the
Scotland Neck Commonwealth-Newspaper
05 March 1918
"JOHN Burgess DIES IN ROANOKE, Mr. John Burgess who has made Roanoke, Va his home for several years, and married a lady of that city, died yesterday at the age of 35 years and his remains were brought to Scotland Neck on the morning train. Mr. Burgess is the son of Mr. Ben Burgess and is survived by his wife only, there being no children of the marriage. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. M. Y. Self and interment will take place this afternoon in the Baptist cemetery."

The marriage of John T Burgess & Pattie E Young was reported in the "Farmville Herald" on 14 July 1911. The were also death reports for Gordon Young on 23 September 1910 and Granville Young on 13 March 1903
