Roxie Wright, dau. of John Daniel Wright and Willice Ann Rebecca Gregory, was b. 1888 and married 1905 to Richard Earle Fore, son of Patrick Henry Fore and Emma Virginia Agee.

Do not know of any connection to "Jack and Roxie Fore". You may be looking for a "John" Fore, I would imagine.

Sandra, thank you for the reply. You are correct that the Jack could named John. An older relative told me the "Jack", and it could well be a nickname.

Roxie Lee Wright (Fore)had a son named Jack. Her husband was Richard Early Fore. They were the parents of my husband, now deceased.

John Anderson FORE, 60, of Farmville died in Southside Community Hospital on Wednesday Feb 10,1971. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Friday at Doyne-Burger Funeral Home with interment in Westview Cemetery. A foreman at Longwood College, Mr FORE was born in Prince Edward County Jan 6, 1911. His father was the late Richard Early FORE. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Beulah B. Fore, his mother, Mrs Roxie Wright FORE, a daughter, Mrs Edgar B. Southall, Jr all of Farmville; 2 sons Lewis Lee FORE of Farmville and Earl A. Fore of Richmond 6 sisters, Mrs Hazel Hyatt and Mrs Jake Rodgers of Farmville, Mrs Lawrence Barksdale of Victoria, Mrs Raymond Robertson of Yorktown, Mrs W. I. Claiborne of Newport News, Mrs P. C. Costner of Fayetteville, NC; 2 brothers, Roy T. Fore of Farmville and Joseph D. Fore of Newport News; also 3 grandchildren.
