Hi Susan, Try the National Archives site http://naa12.naa.gov.au/scripts/ResearcherScreen.asp
Use the main search screen and just put in your surname (you might find extras)If it is a very common name you might have to put in a first name.The records of immigration are mixed up with everything else, so just go through and see if you can find your people. I am not sure of the date range, but I have friends who emmigrated in 1969 and they are on there. Don't use the link for "passenger indexes" as it only goes to 1947. Good luck
