Here's a good link with some information in English about Ulvsvåg, which now looks like a little village from the photo.

There is also a Guest House (bed and breakfast?) and I think if you contact them, you maybe could be lucky and find someone there who could link you in to the Normann family.

Here is a website where you can sign the guestbook at the Ulvsvåg school. Once I had wonderful luck with sending a question to a teacher at a school. They're helpful, know most of the families in the area, and are interested in history and emigration usually.
