Nicolas
de la Fontaine was born abt. 1638 in
Normandie. He was 2 years old when taken by his parents to
London. Records found at the
Huguenot church on Threadneedle Street. He emigrated to the US (colonies) and was married to Grace Dennis abt. 1662 in
Somerset County,
Maryland.
His father was
Nicolas de la Fontaine m. Lea
Buria abt. 1662, b. abt. 1638 in
Normandie and d. 1708. His father was Pierre del
la Fontaine m. Judith and was born bef. 1598 in St. Lo. His father was
Michel de la Fontaine, the Count of St Lo. He was born abt. 1540 and married Estar. He conducted the siege of St. Lo as an aide and won the battle. He was allowed to add the de la in front of his name for the successful seige. He fell in love with a
