Surnames: Esquilant
My mums maiden name was Esquilant. Im having trouble finding info on a samuel Esquilant he had a son Samuel henry in 1871 but cannot find them on any of the census his wife is down as Emily Burley? not sure if surname is correct as i cannot find any marriage info I thought I found a link to a Samuel born in 1838 to a Amos but later found out he died 1840 any info would be a great help as Im stuck on this one

Not sure if this helps, but my mum's (nee Burly) ancestors, Passfield, Henry, Chatfield, Culberhouse etc all came from the same part of England just in the countryside around London mainly. Try looking up Records in Berkshire, Woolwhich, and the surrounds as these familys often lived in the same street and intermarried. My lot came to Australia and these same families settled in the same City, Perth about 100 years ago.
