I believe we are related. My father's, Alfred Lee Piguet Stuck, g g grandfather was Clement Emile Piguet. Since I am just getting starting I really don't have any information to give you. I have been looking for information on my Piquet line for quite a while. My grandfather, Edward Terry Piquet and my grandmother, his first wife- Pearl Jane McMillan Stuck, got divorced when my dad was about 10 years old.

I would say we are related, too. Email me at dipsticksmom@hotmail.com.
Ed Piguet is buried at Dick Duck Cemetery at Catoosa, OK with many other Piguets. I believe I have been contacted previously by someone else in your family, Janice Stuck, I believe was the name.
Where do you live? I have quite a bit of Piguet information; I have been researching them for quite some time. When you respond, give me you parents name, etc.
Hope to hear from you again.

June

Hello Audrey,
If you are related to the Piguets buried in Dick Duck Cemetary, then you and I are related. Reply to my email address (dipsticksmom@hotmail.com) and give me the names of your father, grandfather, & etc, and that will let me know who you are. I would also like to know where you live. I will be happy to share with you.

Hi my grandparents are Piguet. My grandfather was Paul Albert Piguet from Portsmouth, OH, married my grandmother Daisy Ethel Brown-Piguet in 1929. My grandfather died in Dayton, OH 1968.

I'd be happy to receive any connecting information you have.

Thanks

You may be a descendant of Clement Emile Piguet's third son, Alexander Piguet, born 1848, probably in Louisville, Stark Co., Ohio. 1850 census shows Mary Anne Piguet as a 26 year old widow (of Clement Emile Piguet) . Francis Edward was 6 years old, Alexander was 2 years old, and Claude Emile (my g-grandfather) was 4 months old. Clement Emile died in late October or early November 1849.

Francis Edward Piguet had three children: Rosa Piguet born in 1870, John Andrew Piguet, born 7 October 1872 in Portsmouth, Ohio and Maggie Pauline Piguet born in 1879. The family migrated to IL, MO, AR and OK.

I have no information on Alexander Piguet and assume he remained in Louisville/Portsmouth, Ohio area.

Clement Claude Piguet (my grandfather) migrated to Kansas and then to OK. A brother, Florence Piguet, moved to KS, OK, and on to Mohave, CA.

It would be great if you have research beyond your grandfather. If he was born late 1800's or early 1900's, he could be a grandson of Alexander Piguet. Alexander apparently did not leave Ohio when other family members did.

Let me know if any names are familiar. I have more information on the Piguets that migrated westward.

Thanks for your reply. My grandfather was born in the early 1900's, I believe 1906; his name is Paul Albert Piguet, he also had a brother Virgil Piguet that remained in Portsmouth, OH. My grandfather, Paul, moved to Dayton and had four children Janet, Glenn, Patricia and Paula (my mom).

I will talk to my mom some more and post again. I look forward to sharing information with you. August Piguet does sound familiar.

Thanks,
Tricia
