I have several Antoni's listed in documents that I found while doing research inBastia Corsica, and I believe I have some Simonpietri's listed as well, but don't remember off the top of my head where they are located. The Antoni's that I have where either God Parents or business partners in the documents that I have from through the 1700's, although my family was from Mucchieta, which is very near to Ersa on the Cap Corse region of the Island. 1. Pablo Lucchesi. Born abt 1829 in Corcega, France. Pablo died in Salinas, PR aft 1874, he was 45.

Pablo married ? Simonpietri. Born in Corcega, France. died bef 1874.

They had the following children:
2 i. Lucas (~1870-~1913)
ii. Virginia.

iii. Angelina. Born abt 1872 in PR.

iv. Dolores. Born in PR.



Second Generation

2. Lucas Lucchesi Simonpietri. Born abt 1870. Lucas died in Aibonito, PR abt 1913, he was 43.

abt 1890 when Lucas was 20, he married Elvira Pietri Colon, daughter of Pedro Pietri & Colon, in Salinas, PR. Born abt 1872. Elvira died in Aibonito, PR abt 1914, she was 42.

They had the following children:
i. Maria del Carmen. Born abt 1897 in Aibonito, PR.

iii. Pablo. Born on 18 Jan 1904 in Aibonito, PR. Pablo died in Salinas, PR in May 1978, he was 74.

iv. Maria de la Cruz. Born abt 1903 in Aibonito, PR.

Third Generation

3. Maria Julia Lucchesi Pietri. Born on 4 Apr 1901 in Aibonito, PR. Maria Julia died in Centro Medico, Rio Piedras, PR in May 1978, she was 77. Buried in Salinas, PR.

On 30 Apr 1932 when Maria Julia was 31, she married Juan Alexis Espendez Navarro, son of Manuel Antonio Espendez Torres & Matilde Navarro Colon, in Salinas, PR. Born on 25 Dec 1889 in Guayama, PR. Juan Alexis died in Salinas, PR on 25 Mar 1951, he was 61.


From there on after, it really loses SimonPietri and Lucchesi - It becomes the Espendez Geneology.

Her father was August, and also had a brother named Gus and Andre I believe, as well as a sister Magdeline, and perhaps even more that I don't know about!
