My gggrandfather, Charles Claverie [between 7 months and 14 years old at the time of immigration], possibly immigrated from France to New Orleans, LA, USA with his parents near 1820 or a bit after that. I know that he married Rita Chapman. His son, Charles Claverie, Jr married Ruth Williams. Charles Jr begat my maternal grandfather, Andrew Charles Claverie, 26 Septemeber 1919 in New Orleans, LA, USA.

My grandfather is George Claverie who died in 1921 (?) of emphesemia. His address at his death was 1400 block of N. Villere Street at the home of Charles Claverie. Do you think this may be a connection. George was married to Sidonia Barbarin and ancestor of Elizabeth Ballon
