Surnames: Royer/Royere', Ditzenberger, Mader/Meader, Vogt, Wieters, Grandmarche
I'm looking for anyone else researching these families: Francois Royer and Agathe Grandmarche with their children Jacques,Francois, Agathe, Lorine Celestine, Marie, Mathilde who came from Alsaca, Lorraine, France in 1846 to U.S. and settle in Illinois. Also Looking for Jacques Ditzenberger and Catherine Mader/Meader with their children: Martin, Madelaine, Marie, Rose, Catherine #2 about 1845 from Berthelming, Moselle, Lorraine, France to U.S. and settled in Illinois. They had 3 other children that died has infants/toddlers. They were Catherine # 1, Nicolas, Frederic, and Jean Charles Ditzenberger

Where did they settle in Illinois

They settle in St. Clair Co. around French Village.

Surnames: Lillie, Lilly Lelles, Peltier, Gardner
The reson why lam asking so many questions is that lam looking for information on my Grt-Grd father Phillip Lillie who came from France. He married in Kickapoo, Peoria County, Illinois.in 1859. But lam trying to find out about him before then. Like where did he come into the US and how did he get there. So my next question is , where did your ancestors land? And how did they get to that French village.?? ..Rochelle

My ancestor's the Ditzenberger's came in through New Orlean's not sure how they got to French Village, IL.. Glenda

They came over in 1845.
