I am looking for any information on or descendants of François Patrin 1684 - 1756. His son François was a salt smuggler "faux saunier" and was sent to Canada about 1736.

Any information or suggestions are appreciated.

I am adescendant of Francois Petrin/Patrow. We have a tree of many descendants who live through out the U.S. I don't have the info handy but, if you have not gotten it from someone else, I can try to contact a couple other people who have compiled this info.

I hope you can help me I am looking for my husbands grandfathers family. They are Monette/Petrin. Great grandfather is John/Jean Monette who married Marthe Petrin in 1897 and the had many children. They lived in Gracefield, Quebec and passed away in Gracefield. That is all I can find on they. I hope you can help.
