My gg-grandfather is Wessel Dekker who lived in de Rijp, Noord-Holland. His approximate time of birth is 1850 and approximate time of death is 1918. He was married to Aaltje de Wit who was 66 years old when she immigrated to the US in 1919, putting her birth year at about 1853. I believe they had 6 children together, one of whom was my g-grandmother, Mietje Dekker, who was 22 when she immigrated to the US in 1908, which puts her birth year at about 1886. I have discovered a Wessel Dekker who was a musical composer in the Netherlands during the time my gg-grandfather was alive and I would like to find out if this is the same person. According to a surviving grand daughter of his, this is the same person but I am hoping for verification. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
