hello sarah,
This is chris. Once ancestry.com sent me a message saying there was a van lottum in, I think it was arond 1852 in a motormagazine, that a van lottum was menttined. My grandfather Gerrit Willem van Lottum who died in 1963 in Amersfoort, told me once that a brother of his father (?) went to the USA without taking contact with anybody anymore.
