Exequiel Abasolo y Mataquiel

My name is Perze Ababa and my Grandfather from my Mothers side's name is Exequiel Abasolo y Mataquiel. I don't really know much on his side of the family since he died when I was 8 yrs old. From what I've heard, he is originally from the town of Sibalom, Antique Province in the Philippines.

I would appreciate if anyone from that area has any knowledge of his side of the family. Thank you.

hi im dalisay abasolo. my clan came from caba la union a part of northern luzon..my grandmother told us that we have so many relatives who tried their luck in the part of the north like mindanao and even visayan region..my grand father is teofilo marcos abasolo and his father was cecelio abasolo.

María Dominica Abasolo Atucha was married 26 September 1814 with Roque Ybarrondo Arteaga. Parroquia de Santa María, in Lamindano, Dima, Bizkaia.

Hello Maria, hello Eusebio,

My grand-grand father's name is Jose Mateo de Abasolo (Eusebio, I think we talked once, no ?)...he had one sister (Mercedes) and two brothers (Ladislao and Joaquim)..his father was Mateo de Abasolo who married Barbara de Tchaguibel at the beguining of 1800 I think...any connections ? : )

Hi Maria,
My name is Eusebio Abasolo and I am from the village of ARTAUN DIMA Vizcaya.
There are many Abasolos in the ARRATIA Valley (Dima, Ceanuri, Igorre...).

They all belong to the Durango prefecture.

If you use the Google searcher, you will find ABASOLO in Mexico, also nearby Durango,Mx.

Therefore there is no doubt that our ancestor Conde de Abasolo was from this valley.

The oldest trace I found is a lady abasolo born in Durango (Vizcaya) in 1536.

Hi there... my great great grandfather´s grandmother was María de Abasolo, born in Lamindano, Dima, near Ceberio, Vizcaya, Spain. Don´t know the date, but could be around 1780 - 1800. She married Roque de Ibarrondo and had at least one son called Angel de Ibarrondo y Abasolo. Any connections??
