I am looking for Abraham Acton (1) born about 1811 in Castlebar, Ireland and came to Canada pre 1840, then to Bruce County about 1854. Also his son Abraham Acton (2 born Sept. 5, 1855 in Bentinck Township, Ontario and death unknown.

The Actons came from England and were big landowners in Castlebar co. Mayo They once owned where the Castlebar hospital is built. Actons emigrated to Ontario in or about 1840.
My husbands great grandfather was John Edward Acton, his father was John Acton, Ballygoin, Castlebar.

My 3X Great grandfarther came from Ballyguin, Castlebar, Co Mayo. I have looked for Leanne Co Galway to try and contact Adrian Acton but I cannot locate it. Would you know if it is the right spelling?

galway is spelled Galaway

Galway is spelt GALWAY not Galaway, it's Leanne I can't find on any maps. Thanks for your input.
